Wix Squad, a Wix Solutions Studio, is a founder-led studio with a small specialist team, founded in July 2023 by Sadique Habibullah, a Wix Legend Partner and Certified Velo Developer. Based in Bangladesh, the studio works with clients in the US, UK and Europe on custom Wix Velo development, Wix Studio design and development, eCommerce and checkout customization, API and third-party integrations, speed and SEO optimization, and Wix Marketplace apps. With 5+ years on the Wix platform, Wix Squad has delivered 200+ Wix projects for 150+ clients, 50+ of them long-term partners. Recent work includes cutting a data-heavy Velo page’s load time from about 5 seconds to about 1 second, adding Tamara, a GCC buy-now-pay-later provider, as a native option in Wix checkout, and building automatic shipping fees for all 47 Japanese prefectures for a coffee brand.

Velo page load: ~5s → ~1s
A video rental platform’s data-heavy episode page took over 5 seconds to load. By refactoring when and where backend data calls run, load time dropped to about 1–1.3 seconds, with the same content and features.
Tamara in native Wix checkout (GCC)
Added Tamara, a GCC buy-now-pay-later provider, as a native payment option in the standard Wix checkout, using Wix Service Plugins, Tamara’s API, a hosted checkout redirect and payment-status webhooks.
Long-Term Technical Partner
For a Japanese coffee brand, we built automatic prefecture-based shipping fees from the customer’s postal code inside Wix checkout, which Wix doesn’t support out of the box. Read the case study
