I successfully developed a customized payment solution for a client using Velo by Wix, where I tailored the Wix payment form to dynamically adjust the invoiced amount based on user input from three different form fields. This project was designed to enhance the user experience and streamline the checkout process by calculating payments in real time.
Challenge
- Dynamic Pricing: Implemented a system where the total amount invoiced is automatically calculated based on user input from three form fields. These fields included Service, Number of clothes, and Withdrawal date, each influencing the final price according to the client’s pricing strategy.
- Conditional Logic: Used Velo’s advanced coding capabilities to add conditional logic that adjusted prices based on specific combinations of field values, ensuring accurate invoicing and customer satisfaction.
- Seamless Integration: Integrated the customized form with Wix’s payment gateway, allowing users to proceed to checkout smoothly once their total was determined.
