Wix Studio Developer for Business Websites That Convert
Wix Legend Partner · Certified Velo Developer · 200+ Wix projects delivered · 5+ years on Wix
Wix Squad, a Wix Solutions Studio founded by Wix Legend Partner and Certified Velo Developer Sadique Habibullah, designs and builds responsive Wix Studio websites, from new builds and redesigns to Editor-to-Studio migrations and white-label work for agencies. We’ve delivered 200+ Wix projects for 150+ clients in the US, UK and Europe, and we add custom Velo code when a design needs more than drag-and-drop.
Wix Studio vs Wix Editor: which one does your business need?
Wix Studio is Wix’s platform for agencies and professional designers. Compared with the classic Wix Editor, it gives you responsive layouts built with flexible grids and breakpoints, so the site is designed for desktop, tablet and mobile instead of squeezed onto a phone. It also adds reusable design assets, client handoff and built-in coding with Velo.
The classic Editor still works well for a simple brochure site that rarely changes. Wix Studio is the better choice when:
Your site has to look right on every screen size, not just desktop.
You’re redesigning and want a cleaner, more modern build that will last.
Several people (your team, an agency, a developer) work on the site.
You need CMS-driven pages, custom features or integrations as the business grows.
What our Wix Studio development includes
New Wix Studio websites designed around your offer, your buyers and one clear call to action per page.
Responsive builds checked on desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints, not just previewed.
Redesigns of dated Wix or non-Wix sites, keeping the content and SEO you already have.
Editor-to-Studio migrations that rebuild your classic Wix site in Studio with your existing content, URLs and SEO settings.
CMS and dynamic pages for services, locations, portfolios, team members, listings and blogs.
Conversion-focused pages: landing pages, quote and booking forms, clear CTAs and trust sections.
Custom Velo features when the design needs logic: calculators, filters, member areas, integrations.
SEO and speed setup: titles, meta descriptions, one H1 per page, structured data, redirects and image optimization.
White-label builds and handoff for agencies: we build under your brand and hand the site over to you or your client.
Wix Studio projects we’ve shipped
Full website for Many-to-One Facilitator Academy
We designed and built the full website in Wix Studio to support the academy’s leadership and collaboration training programs, with a clean, structured layout that makes the course offering and enrollment easy to find. Visit the Facilitator Academy site
Full website design for Plota Foods
A full website design in Wix Studio for a food brand. Visit the Plota Foods site
Design + custom code in one build
Many of our builds need more than layout: a custom quote workflow for UtilityPal, a real-time availability portal for Wybalena Organic Farm that reads Google Calendar, and a custom gift product builder on a Wix Studio store. Because the same team designs and codes, the features fit the design instead of being bolted on. See the portfolio

Can you migrate my Wix Editor site to Wix Studio?
Yes. There’s no one-click switch from the classic Editor to Wix Studio, so a migration means rebuilding the design in Studio while reusing your content, images, CMS collections and SEO settings. We plan it so you don’t lose traffic:
Audit the current site: pages, apps, CMS data, custom code and the pages that bring in traffic.
Rebuild the design in Studio with responsive layouts, and improve what isn’t working.
Move content and collections, and carry over page titles, descriptions and structured data.
Keep the same URLs, or set up 301 redirects where they change.
Test on all breakpoints, then switch the domain over with you.
Wix Studio vs Webflow or WordPress for a business website
All three can produce a professional site. The difference is what you have to manage afterwards. With Wix Studio, hosting, security, updates and the core business tools (bookings, stores, forms, members, CMS) are built in, and your team can edit content without breaking the layout. WordPress gives you the biggest plugin ecosystem, but you or a developer maintain hosting, updates and plugin conflicts. Webflow is strong for design-led marketing sites, but bookings, stores and member areas usually need extra tools.
If you want a site your team can run without a developer on call, and the option to add custom features later with Velo, Wix Studio is a strong fit.
Does Wix Studio need custom code, and when do you need a developer?
Most Wix Studio sites need no code at all. You need a developer when the site has to do something Wix’s built-in tools and apps can’t, for example:
A quote or pricing calculator that follows your own rules.
Advanced filtering or search across a large CMS collection.
A member or client area where each user sees their own data.
Connecting the site to your CRM, a database or an outside API.
That’s where Velo comes in. Our founder is a Certified Velo Developer, so design and code are planned together from day one. See our Wix Velo development services.
How much does a custom Wix Studio website cost?
Our Wix Studio work starts at these prices (the same “from” prices as our Wix Marketplace profile):
Mobile and responsive fixes for an existing site: from $300
Classic website design (theme-based site): from $1,000
Website migration to a new Wix site, using your existing content: from $1,000
Website redesign: from $1,200
Advanced website design (custom visuals and advanced features): from $1,700
Sites with custom Velo features, portals or integrations: fixed quote after the discovery call
What changes the price: the number of pages and unique templates, whether we write or source the content, CMS collections and data to move, custom features and integrations, languages, and your deadline.

Wix Studio FAQs
Is Wix Studio good for a business website?
Yes. Wix Studio gives you professional, responsive design, built-in hosting and security, and business tools like bookings, stores, forms and a CMS, all in one place your team can edit.
Can I edit the site myself after launch?
Yes. We set up the site so your team can update text, images, blog posts and CMS items without touching the layout, and we walk you through it at handoff.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I move to Wix Studio?
Not if the move is planned. We keep your URLs or set up 301 redirects, carry over titles and descriptions, and request indexing for key pages after launch.
Can you work white-label for my agency?
Yes. Many agencies use Wix Squad as their Wix Studio and Velo team: you keep the client relationship, and we design, build and hand over the site under your brand.
Do you only redesign Wix sites?
No. We also rebuild sites from WordPress, Squarespace and other platforms in Wix Studio, reusing your content and keeping your SEO.
Who owns the website?
You do. The site lives in your Wix account (or your client’s), and you can transfer it or work with someone else later.
How we work: 5 steps
1. Free discovery call. Your goals, your buyers, your current site and what success looks like.
2. Sitemap, scope and fixed quote. Pages, features, content needs, timeline and price in writing.
3. Design in Wix Studio. We design key pages first, you review, then we roll the design out across the site.
4. Build, test and optimize. Responsive checks on every breakpoint, SEO setup, speed and form testing.
5. Launch and handoff. We publish with you, walk your team (or your client) through editing, and support you after launch.
Typical timelines: landing page or small site in 1–2 weeks; full business website in 3–6 weeks; redesigns and migrations with CMS or custom features in 4–8 weeks.
